Hello Everyone:
KLAC (as with many
other clubs) have enrolled in a new "SCRIP" program. It works similar to Shop
and Support but, we hope will be easier to use with better service. They have
been in service for over 10 years.
If you are interested, please go to
www.fundscrip.com They
will walk you through the registration process. We are now registered (you
will find our club on the drop down list). The unique thing about this
program is that they use EFT for payment (electronic funds transfer). Once
you register and send by fax or e-mail a "voided" cheque you are good to
go. Our schedule will be every week. Therefore, every Thursday order, the cards will arrive at
The Fergusons', 32 Algonquin, the following
Wednesday.
You may think that raising 3 - 5% here and there is not worth it, but,
that has turned into over $13,000.00 raised by KLAC over 2 1/2 years with the
other SCRIP program. There is no cost to you. If you order a 100$ card you
get a 100$ card. We are asking you to consider even just ordering gas/grocery cards. That
alone can help raised much needed funds for our club. Anyone can join, family
friends etc. For Foodland cards they fall under "Sobeys" and many restaurants
are found under other umbrella names as well. Please consider registering for
the program. Can you imagine easily fundraising throughout the year, buying
only things you use and need anyways? If anyone need more explanation please
