KIRKLAND LAKE AQUATIC CLUB PARTICIPATION POINT SYSTEM
The success of a swim club is dependent
on active parent involvement and participation.
To encourage volunteer participation, each family will be required to
earn volunteer participation points annually.
When a swimmer is registered, a volunteer cheque will be required from
each family. This cheque shall be dated for
June 1, 2010 and only cashed at the end of the season if total points and bingo
obligations have not been met. Our goal
is to have ALL our members actively involved in the swim club’s success. If we all work together we can keep fees from
increasing by participating in all fundraising opportunities.
Each family will be required to earn (500 POINTS FOR FAMILIES WITH ONE 10 AND
UNDER SWIMMER, 700 POINTS FOR ALL OTHERS)by the end of the season. The following is a break down of only some of
the ways you can accumulate your EARN BACK points.

In addition to EARN BACK points each
family will be encouraged to participate in the FUNDSCRIP program. It will cost you nothing and up to 200 points can be earned by using
FUNDSCRIP. Please see attached
registration information on how it works.
In order to meet a goal of $8000 each family would only need to raise
$200 through FUNDSCRIP. If you do not
have internet access please feel free to ask one of our board members for
assistance in having gift cards ordered for you. Each family would only have to raise $20 per
month. A family of three can easily
raise more than that by just purchasing cards for groceries and gas. For every dollar raised one point is earned.
It will be easy to accumulate your
points, you will have fun doing it and you will help the club and the program
in the meantime. Points not reported,
are points not earned. You need to
submit your participation point’s form to Gina Ross or Stacey Levesque. All forms must be signed by the committee
chair, fundraising leader or an executive member.
